This case is a village villa in Qingshen County, Sichuan Province. It is a two-story single family house, which is the home for two elderly people to provide for the aged. Qianxing design participated in the whole process from architecture, courtyard to interior and soft decoration. The project is built on the foundation of the original building, which brings us many limitations and challenges. In order to avoid the fields and roads as much as possible, the irregular courtyard walls present a special aesthetic feeling. Use simple and pure materials to shape the appearance of the building without excessive decoration. The warm earth color makes the building integrate with the surrounding environment. Due to the limitation of the original building foundation, the area of the first floor is small, so we look for a way to extend the space on the second floor and design a lot of empty areas. Architecture is not only a place for people to seek shelter, but also a medium for people to communicate with nature. The indoor space distribution shall be as simple as possible, and only necessary functions shall be reserved. The direction of the room opening window is toward the field. You can also directly feel the nature in the room, and the light and scenery can extend into the room. Several times, I went to and fro in the countryside, and found that plain and simple is the most real. By the mountain and by the water, among the trees, you can walk and sit safely. We hope that in the future, the building can maintain its style and personality, just like here.
